Having taught this era, I know how much work it was to chronicle and compile this much information and assemble it so cogently. This was very well done. It was worth giving the blow by blow account, because it really showed how much the Huns impacted the empire over and over again; not just one or two big events, but a sustained wave which knocked a whole bunch of dominos over. I really liked the point about how Attila's death helped lead to the death of Aetius "The Last of the Romans."
It was quite a work, and arguably the hardest part was to shorten it into an acceptable length. This is just such an interesting period one could write a 2 hour long article easily, but who would read that?😅

Thank you!

My wife’s most consistent response to my own writing is that it’s too long.
My friends generally say the same about mine.
